Seriously, whenever I watch international news, there will always be countries trying to fire at each other on the daily basis. There are bombings, suicide bombers, roadside bombing etc etc. With all of the formed alliance between countries, if ever two countries go head to head, I'm pretty sure that there will be other countries who will fire too. Do you guys think that another world war is possible?

No one can give an assurance that there will not be another world war. No one can assure that there will be another world war. But we witness wars and natural and devastating calamities very often. Important is to promote peace and brotherly solidarity

The difference between then and now is that all of our economies are integrated. Before, if you declared was and attacked another country, it would spur the economy to some extent by increasing military manudacturing. Now, if you attack another country it will adversely affect your economy in a significant way, so in effect you are declaring war on yourself.

I tend to agree with this.

However, it's worth noting that a lot of people thought this before WW1. There was so much capital moving around the globe that some people thought countries would be mad to attack each other as they would have so much to lose.

But it happened and it led to a virtual shutdown of capital flows which had disastrous effects for rebuilding. Then you had the depression. This helped foster nationalism and in a very short time the people got WW2.

Well I hope not in my life time here on earth but their will be another world war to take place! I don't know how some it will be but it's coming.

World war is inevitable unless the people of the world
attain to a higher level of consciousness. If we don't
come to understand the higher nature of the self
and the unifying principle in all life we must reap the results
of violating natures laws which will come in the form of
natural disasters, diseases, wars etc. Unfortunately it
seems that far from elevating our consciousness we are
in fact becoming more degraded and ignorant day by day.
Therefore in conclusion I say...war is inevitable.

I agree with you to a point and hope those who are raising their consciousness are growing faster than those who are remaining at lower vibration rates. Hasn't it been said if only 1% of the world's population would raise its consciousness, then we have a chance to move in more positive directions? Actually some of the civil wars that have been going on over the last couple of years are good signs. The citizens are tired of decades and longer of oppression from their dictator despots. They are recognizing they no longer resonate with the old energies and are searching for a different way to exist. The people who run the world and want to stay in control of the current systems are few. We are many.

I really think that the 3rd World War is not possible. Obviously we have some people and countries that are always involved in conflicts, but this is not the only reason for such a big thing to happend.
We have the International Conseils and Organizations, all of them try to get together the nations and revolve the problems in a diplomatic and peacefull way. We know too that this organizations sometimes don't play fair, but in general they exist because everybody was supporting this, and so it is till today.
If any kind of huge conflict happens in Middle East I think that the countries will try to deal with this there, and just there. As it is already happening right now. If we think about Nuclear Weapons than the history changes, but i don'

3rd World War is possible. Governments are so selfish and stupid that they will kill everybody for oil. But world war is good too. Maybe after that there will be only one supercountry where will not be anybody to fight with.

I think that considering the international relations, diplomacy and other points we should see that it is really difficult for this to happend, UN was created to avoid this kind of conflicts, and taking off some countries, most part of them are running away from it...

You may not realize this, BUT we are in the midst of the 3rd world war NOW, practically every country are fighting each other, so if this is not a world war what is it then?

We can't tell, but I have high hopes that another war won't happen again. Different countries have their own conflicts and issues, and I hope they are trying to resolve these with peace and won't let innocent people suffer from this again. Let's all be part of the solution, not be part of the problem. The little things we do can make a difference. Let's hope for the best!

This is a nice idea but not based of off reality.

There will always be hostility amongst other countries... it's human nature. We've been like this ever since the dawn of time. In a perfect world, everyone would set aside their differences and get along but humans aren't like that at all. There's always hidden agendas, greed and indifference to other people. The world's situation now is very volatile. I just hope war doesn't happen soon.

I think these bombing would not comes to end until each and every country of the world withdraw and dispose all of destructive weapons. But every country in this world think that their neighbour country will attack them if they've no better destructive weapon system. So, every country is trying to put most of their eggs for self-defence with weapons manufacturing or buying weapons.

But I also don't agree that there will be another world war is coming. Yes another world war is coming, but this will not be with destructive weapons. I think the next world war will be done from global cyber attacks, because almost all businesses of every country are running on the internet, cyber-attacks can damage these businesses. That's why next world war will be the cyber-attack world war.
