Flippa is a good place for website flipping as most people in the web look on flippa to buy sites either with revenue or none

it actually depends on how you introduce and market your site even without traffic you can sell it high

I agree with you. Flippa is the largest website flipping marketplace on the web. I did sell a website in Flippa years ago and made some money, but flipping website is not what I used to do all the while. Anyway, I suggest Flippa to all my friends who want to sell or buy website.

Doesn't Flippa cost like $29 to list a site? I think at one point it was $19 to list a site for sale. Either or, it does cost to list. So I would strongly recommend that if anyone considers using Flippa, that they first have a site worth selling because listing costs aren't free and rather quite high. You can list a site on eBay for cheaper.

Oh I thought I could edit my post up there, but can't. Here's a link to their listing prices for those who might be considering Flippa for selling their sites: https://flippa.com/pricing -- figure that into your formula. So if your site does not sell, you'd be in debt and would have to find a way to recover from that cost when calculating your profits. So recommendation: make sure you have a worthy site that you know has over a 95% chance of selling (research what sites sell and for how much they usually sell for especially on Flippa). That way you have a better chance, at very least of breaking even and then profiting a good amount. I know people who spend the money on Flippa's listing fees and their sites don't sell -- and they are in debt until they can find a way to make up for that loss. Wish everyone the best.

although website flipping sounds like an easy and interesting way to make some money, it comes with plenty of inherent risks. the cost of flipping a website includes not just the cost of the website bought but also the amount and time spent on flipping it around. also the name of the website should be such that it can be sold at a premium to a person wants that particular domain.

What is website flipping?

I see this question posted in many forums so I would like to take this opportunity to answer this question for many of you.

Website Flipping is the process of purchasing a website, updating/improving/devolping or adding value to the website and then selling the website for a profit.

The term flipping has been borrowed from the real estate market where "house flipping" is a well known industry. In fact the processes behind each are almost identical but as far as popularity and awareness goes website flipping is well behind.

So why am I so excited about the industry?

Im not sure whether my writing style reflects my enthusiasm for the industry and if it hasnt let me tell you I am well and truely hitched onto the bandwagon. Website flipping is such an exciting industry for many reasons including:

- Incredibly low capital needed (in comparison with other investments)
- Unbelievable amount of growth possible (how many websites are there?)
- Low risk as any good purchase will at worst hold its value
- High growth currently
- Create revenue whilst "flipping"

So stick around, bookmark this forum and ask lots of questions because IMO this is one of the best online industries around and now is a great time to enter the market.

For more infomation on website flipping as well as lots of great hints & tips check out my website flipping blog at

Interesting information. No doubts Website flipping is the most rewarding and enjoyable strategy to earn online. Based on your capabilities and experience to outsource you may discover several website flipping methods.
