....I can't say that I have marketed heavily with video. I keep hearing the only submission site is Traffic Geyser.
Is it still a hot marketing site?..or is there better out there?

his is something I need to start doing. I have seen many successful stories but never took the step to get started. Is there a video that can help me get started with video marketing and then show me how to get more visitors to the video?

Here is how to get more visitors to your video: Choose a good keyword phrase and use it on the youtube video TITLE and then a couple of times in the description. I love video marketing... around the ipad one launch I banked the bucks. I will upload some hint guide or something down the road because it is pretty easy with CPA. Videos are better than articles but both together work wonders!

Try putting your keywords into your video title, video description and in the alt tags etc. This will enble the video to rank for those specific keywords and topics and help your video rank higher under those sesarch terms for videos
The number of views is also important because the video with the most views is seen as being popular and relevant in Googles eyes. Distribute your video in all the video aggregator sites not just Youtube, tweet it, post it on facebook and encourage forwarding and sharing

I use to do video marketing, but anymore I'm fearful of putting in work just to have my videos deleted.

I use video marketing too but not too much. I use this for repurposing my content. It is not quite necessary for my campaigns but I always do see to it that I have the right keyword density for my content. You must always add related keywords as tags in your videos.
