You know, I used to not really understand Twitter - with another one of my websites, at one of the startup awards sites that we were both a part of, I saw that they were updating their customers via this "Twitter" thing. And another time, a user mentioned one of my advertising networks. I still didn't understand it at first, but now-a-days, I'm a power-user it looks like lol

I'm in with an account for each business I run, a personal account and an account for people that want to follow me, the entrepreneur - I update them all via HootSuite and TweetDeck and I think the only thing I don't use yet is an actual phone. But hey, that's coming in the near future.

I think the turnaround for me was when I opened up a recipe site and used Twitter to connect with foodies. Suddenly, each new recipe post was tweeted out and each tweet resulted in an instant 100-200 unique traffic hits. And that was when I only had a few hundred followers. I was hooked, so I expanded.

Never thought I'd live the see the day, though..
