Hello, I'm new here, but I have a few questions.

basically I have always had a very keen interest in FX and financial investment, but have never known where to start. From seeing FX robots to FX mentorship guide offers, I don't know where is the best place to begin. I am looking at making an initial investment of $10,000, and more as time and results follows. I have no based position to initiate my trading though and would like to have a touch of guidance here if possible.

Ideally I am looking at something automatic or managed, this is one option that I have been able to come up with by a bit of research. I see many companies and sites offering managed forex accounts, where basically I deposit funds and receive profits of 1-5% weekly. Is that the way it is? If so then why do these companies need my deposits if they can trade the funds themselves?

All in all, I'd like a little bit of guidance in the best way to trade my starting balance of $10,000. Should I look into setting up a managed account with a broker? Should I invest into a HYIP program that's advertising 1000% in a few hours etc? I have no idea where to start.

I don't need some in depth explanations as I know everyone on here has better things to do, but some links to very helpful articles that you would of read when you began etc would be greatly appreciated. Be extremely careful with managed forex accounts and HYIP. There is a lot of fraud in this area. I strongly suggest you learn to do it yourself first. That way if you do decide to use a managed account you will at least know what to look for. Trust me on this. It's a dog eat dog world. No one cares more about your money than you do. So if I were to recommend a money manager for you it would be YOU FIRST!

I definitely think it would be a good idea to start by diversifying your investments. By diversifying your investments your investments in different opportunities you lessen the risk of losing all your funds in a single endeavor. Forex CAN be a great place to start, but be sure to gain the necessary knowledge & have the right tools first!

Just my 2 cent : If you value your 10k, dont go for whatever hyip automated trading robot pamm kind of thing. Sure, they all have their own advantages (also disadvantage)

Spend some time to learn forex yourself. There's loads of free materials on the net to learn from. You can even find (or hire) someone to teach you how to trade
