Social Media is the best way to ensure instant, and genuine, visitors on your website. But among so many Social Media Marketing websites, I would suggest you to use the following 10 websites. I personally use these websites, and they bring a lot of traffic to my website Nodepages.

1. Twitter - the best Social media communication website.

2. Stumble - the best social bookmarking website

3. Digg - it is not as good as it used to be before, but still very good.

4. Facebook - nice way to bring continuous traffic on your website

5. Traffup.net - Not just bring massive free traffic, but also free twitter followers and retweets.

6. Linked In- Great for niche marketing

7. Reddit - it is not as good as stumble, but sometimes bring amazing traffic.

8. Hubpages - Great way to get continuous traffic and backlinks.

9. Youtube - Create an attractive video of your website and promote it virally (if you are lucky)

10. Ycombinator - Good bookmarking website.

That is a really good list there! I too use everyone of them and have gotten decent traffic from each! Thanks for sharing!

If you are blogging using wordpress platform
I recommend the Shareaholic plug-in.
It has lot of social sites including those you listed above.

In the above list, the best way that I have been able to drive continuous traffic to my blog is by the use of facebook and hugpages. Facebook especially has helped to increase visitors to my blog.

I think nowadays Twitter, Stumbleupon, and facebook are the best way to generate huge amount of targeted traffic, I don't know how digg is working today their current website appearance really hard to understand how it ranks the shared links.

I will give +1 to Stumbleupon, because stumbling is really like a surprise, if you keep stumble then this will continuously surprise you with entertaining, interesting contents, that you can share them to your facebook, or twitter and build your social profile.
