Well we just had the latest electoral fiasco in Thailand.

Ex prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra who was basically lynched 6 years ago by the people and the army after weeks of violent riots because of gross corruption and embezzlement of the countries cash assets. Who's family managed to steal Billions of $ of the counties money, and is currently living in exile hiding in Dubai from a life sentence. Who massacred thousands of his own people with his 'no trial' shoot on site policies for any use of drugs (even a joint).

Then what happens????

The public only go and elect his sister, who has absolutely zero political experience, who paid approx $60 for each vote... oh yes... everyone here sells there votes here and political parties openly buy them. Then pay out of the 'public's' tax money.....lol

That is the new prime minister who is now running the country under dictation from that idiot brother of her's in Dubai.

I am just waiting for the next riot to kick off, and she can go and join him in exile.

I disagree on the election's result but respect on their vote. We have to understand most of Thais are poor or middle level people. Taksin is still popular for them that transfer it to her sister.

I bet that within 2-3 years the goverment under Yingluck will be collapsed by themself.

Being poor or "middle level" is not a sin in it of itself or a reason for excuse.... the Americans are starting to figure that out as the wealthy elite are crushing the middle level and raping the poor for whatever they have left. these people will do what they do until they are stopped.
