TheGoldenMoney forum seems to have a duplicate database. If you have a registered name at TG, check the link below and do a member search for it. Chances are it will appear. Did Brian sell off his database to this forum admin? Did his database get stolen and plagiarized?

Well, according to Brian, it was indeed plagarized by a method known as screenscraping, which can be found here:

http://www.scrapegoat.com/

The passwords don't match, nor do the join dates, or the avatars, so it's obvious that whole database wasn't copied.

Seems like a waste of time for just screen names.

I used a similar more robust program to data-mine the PIPS forum a long time ago. It was able to extract usernames and their associated e-mail addresses if they had entered an email address in their profile. You would be amazed how many did:) It was around half of the 25K or so members. Never did use that database but there would have been some HYIP admins that would have probably paid some bucks for it, then it would have been re-sold 1000 times in a week and quickly worthless.
