What do you think about this? do people struggle trying to make money online or do people struggle trying to UNDERSTAND how to make money online?

I struggle every day, but day by day I am catching on, it takes a lot of patience and knowledge to make it happen, so hang in there.

Well... There are tons of free information that is floating around nowadays. It is much more easier to get familiar with the basics than it was around 10 years ago when I started. But I think many people are overwhelmed with the amount of info and opportunities that are available.

On the other hand, tons of people are looking for the "magic button" to make money. They are simply too lazy to do the real work.

And also there are those who learn but never take action. The simply love to play with the thought that they could earn an income from home, but never actually make it happen.

Only a few of the home business enthusiasts will learn AND take action on what they leaned, however even some of those give up if they cannot stand some of the failures at the beginning.

So bottom line is that really few makes it.

To be honest, it gets easier all the time as you learn more and partner with the right people.

IMO, both are correct. I coach a lot of affiliates and, initially, I typically see an unwillingness to invest in good, structured training.

Instead they try to obtain the information they need free from all sorts of varied places (forums, outdated ebooks, other people's opinions) and they struggle with information overload and misinformation.

That's hopeless and, once I manage to influence then to take up structured training, they break out and have much better results.

If you are struggling you should try to get a coach or try to get your hands on some training videos, there are alot of good offers out there.

What helps is try and learn as much as possible. Maybe look for a group in your local area that have similar interested in MMO and IM. I think it helps to connect with people on a local basis and exchange ideas. Even if you know a particular guru, go to their fan page on facebook and see if there are any comments and see if you can find anyone on there that's posting on their page. Shoot them a message and say hello and see if you can connect with them. Most of the stuff I learn come from courses and with courses, take what you learn, implement. If there are other people that have purchased the same course, talk about what you have learned.

I think a little of both. Primarily I think most people quit because it does take work. People are led to believe that you buy a online money making system, you press a couple of buttons and you start making thousands of dollars every month. We all know that is not true. Starting, learning how, and running an online business of any kind takes work and a lot of it. I know when I first started that was very intimidating, and it is easy to just give up, but if you want to be successful and learn what you need to, then implement it, and keep working at it, then you will be successful. It's just that simple.

The fact that you advertise and push your website for hours and hours using different techniques and such, and get no result really is frustrating. So yes I guess for me understanding how to make money online is an issue
