I decided to close my Stormpay account, but I wanted to keep a "Souvenir" of the old bad days before doing so , so I funded my SP account with e-gold with $7 to be able to make a withdrawal request of $5.05 by international cheque ($2 international mail fee + $5 minimum whithdrawal amount + $0.05 I had in my account balance)

The withdrawal request is currently pending, what do you think Stormpay will do :

• Cancel my withdrawal request ?
• Keep the withdrawal request pending forever ?
• Suspend my account ?
• Send me the check ?
• Not send me the check but lie and claim that it has been sent ?
• maybe something else ?

Let's wait and see !

I think the idiots at stenchpay may suspend ur a/c but lets see what happens

I don't understand this whole 'stormpay' and all the hype there was when 12dp folded, that Stormpay was a scam run by a crook. Right now Stormpay is running full blast llike nothing ever happened. I'm beginning to think the 12dp folding was just a put on, and the money was lifted by someone maybe Charis and Stormpay? I don't understand this at all, what happened to all that money? Has the whole thing just been buried? None of this ever made legitimate news except for one small station in the midwest. Never saw it on national news.
Stormpay took my money and charged it back to the owners, my money that was taken out of my account and GAVE IT to the owners of the now out-of-business sites. It's too late to get my bank to charge it back to me.....way too late. Does anyone have any information on this area where we might get back any money owed to us? I am owed thousands but don't expect much if any back. But LEGALLY, I should get some of it back. Any advice would be appreciated.

You could send a complaint to the Attorney General in StormPays state, and see what they are doing about them. I am pissed off too, because it just seems like business an usual for them dispite making chargebacks on our accounts and closing them out.

The last rumor I heard was that the government was forcing stormpay to further cooperate in the 12DP by supplying papers, records, etc.

However, to be honest, I still wouldn't expect much back from this situation. By the time the courts are settled, if the victims receive anything it will be mere pennies on the dollar.
