Crude Oil: Near-Term Outlook

As of June 29th, US refineries received 15.6 million barrels a day. The volume was higher than a week ago. The refining capacity was around 92%. The production of gasoline reached 9.4 million barrels a day. The production of distillates reached 4.7 million barrels a day. The import of crude oil was around 8.8 million barrels.
Over the previous 4 weeks the import of crude oil reached 9.1 million barrels a day, thus exceeding last’ years import volume by 16K barrels a day. The overall import of gasoline was around 823K barrels a day. The import of distillates reached 81K barrels a day.
