Squidoo And Making Money

What are the thoughts about Squidoo? I have seen some success with it but I keep hearing that it is only a matter of time before google doesn't like them anymore, this has to be a rumor as I have hundreds of squidoo lenses and none of them have been banned or anything.

I think Squidoo is going to be around for a long time and I wouldn't be surprised if google bought them like they buy so many other popular social websites.
