I've created this article to introduce members to STPay. If members have security tips to share in addition to those in the security link I've listed above, and specific to STPay, please post them in this thread, and we will incorporate them into this post to create one good reference piece on STPay. Thanks for reading smile.gif

Did you guys bother to send support email to SolidTrustPay?

I did, and received an answer that this was a script to make it look like they have your info. I'm not sure I buy this but I have seen this sort of thing before. But they'd still need access to the db to merge that info in the email, even if they don't really have the database.

The file attached to the email does indeed look like a database.

Waiting for more info.

why STP ?? it is unprofessional, and please read their TOS

"NOTE: we do NOT accept adult, pharmaceutical, dating, gambling, firearm, tobacco, lottery or casino businesses of any kind."

i prefer ePay.vg instead, been using them for countless transactions

I've heard of SolidPay but SolidTrustPay? Seems like they are just looking to steal SolidPay's customers or something like that. I'm not sure. But their site looks OK.

Dorky ... pm me the question you have for them and I'll contact Stella or Marc for you and I'll see if I can get an answer for you by the first of the week. You can exchange STPay for e-gold (as the original poster outlined above). I requested a transfer from STPay to AlertPay and it took about 24 hours or so to be done, so I wouldn't think it would take much longer to get funds to e-gold. The only thing is STPay only enables e-gold transfers every so often.

By the way, I requested a check from STPay for a small amount just this past Wednesday (7/18/07) and it arrived in my mailbox today (7/21/07) just to give USA folks an idea of how long it takes to receive a check from them. It takes mail from my mom in Michigan 5-7 days to get to me, so you'll get your check quicker than I will mail from my mom biggrin.gif
