I was recently attracted to silver as investment. I've inherited a modest amount of silver jewellery. I bought a brochure "Get Rich Buying and Selling Silver" by some D. Dutta-Roy at www.lulu.com ..... made some decent money...but anybody have idea how to SELL silver jewellery ?? They're undervalued

Well it's definitely debatable as whether or not silver is a viable investment medium.
It's all speculation on how the prices will go; take a look at the Wikipedia article about Silver being an Investment - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silver_as_an_investment
From 1990 to now, the price of silver per ounce has gone up about 300% (3 Times).

2000 4.60

So if you wanted to invest in silver I would recommend doing it in the pure bullion, not jewelry; this way you know it's pure and standardized in weight.
Who knows, maybe silver will go up another 300% in a decade and a half, maybe more, maybe less.
You could also wait and observe any trends, maybe it will hit a low spot again; but the best thing you can do before making a decision is to be as informed as possible - knowledge truly is power!

Invest in oil. It's gone up % wise in the past 5 years what silver has taken decades to. World powers will be fighting wars for oil for decades to come.

Silver is a good long term investment IMO, it's logical to go up because there's a set reserver of silver across the world and it is heavily used for industrial purposes , not only jewelery. Increased demand=increased price. But you should invest in pure bullion as already noted, not in jewelery.

I've got 20 or so 99.9 one oz silver coins I will let go for $13.00 each if someone wants to give me paypal for them willing to split up. silver is $16 an oz now.

Today Gold Price=1000 usd for 1 troy ounce (31.1034768 grams). And it isn't limit.

Gold is way up, it is very expensive to buy now. That' why my husband and I will probably buy more silver.

I agree. I used to have a lot of silver a few years back. Don't know why I ever sold it. Accumulating silver coins is pretty fun and you can accumulate quite a few coins for a small investment or through different programs.

Aren't you in a good silver program, Ken? Another good way to do some accumulating. Bruce had a few collectable silver coins we inherited appraised and they were over 1K in value. We have a lot of others my dad have accumulated that I inherited. I have a safe in the house, but never lock it - that does a lot of good. Better start locking it - I just now thought what if Eric is hunting for change and thinks they are just quarters.
