Hello, my father has a few houses in a sunny city in portugal. But he only uses 1 website to rent them. We only rent for a few weaks or months. The website is really good and we rent a lot in summer but in the winter we only can rent a few weaks or months. What i want to know is what ways u found was the best to rent the houses all year. Im asking this here because he is happy with the way the things are going but i want to find out the best ways to rent houses i know it may seem a stupid question and maybe its in the wrong place so im sorry lol

In terms of vacations and places to crash, I found it easy to decide on which place to go to or which pad to crash at by checking out Google - that is if I am not familiar to the place or I don't know anyone around the area, if there are some friends or something, I'd contact them and get the best advice from people who lives in the area. Anyways, going back to google, it does have a list of places to go to (and you can be specific). Nowadays those websites already lists the things that you can do in that place and how much it would cost. Google makes life easier

Actually if house is not in use then rent is the best option to keep it in use as well as to earn money side by side. I think if you do Google on this some time then you will definitely get lot easier ways to rent house.

As of now there are tons of websites in Google where you can find houses for rent in different locations. So it would mainly depend on what place you decide to settle in. And if you wish to generate income from those houses that are inactive for a couple of months better dress them up, create an online niche and advertise them.

What you should do is create a FaceBook Fan Page and name it SunnyPortugalRentals or something similar, this will be your FaceBook URL. I would then create free Classified Ads
in craigslist, kijiji, backpage, adlandpro or on any of the many free international realestate classifieds.

I get great results from advertising my FaceBook Fan Page on classifieds and on related forums. Your FaceBook Fan Page also allows you to offer something for free to visitors who click the Like Button. You could create a discount coupon giving one free month or free cable TV Netflix or something similar.

This is very powerful marketing because you will be able to contact your FB Like friends
with new offers, discounts,specials..etc.
