Do the youtube video search rankings work on the same algorithms as google? How do i rank higher up in youtube search?

I am not sure how the rankings in Youtube are calculated but most likely if you have more views on your videos.

Among videos mostly seems to depend on views. Title is important for terms obviously.




Simple formula:

1. Be a hot babe.
2. Show off the "assets."

Lacking that, make an interesting vid that people want to watch and use relevant terms in the title not something like "You've got to see this!"

get lots of views yes that is true, but you also need high user rankings and videos that do not have too many other people making videos about the same thing. That said cute animal videos are among the most popular.

Its not so easy to rank #1 on youtube as it appears to be. It requires many things to be done perfectly. First of all your video must be of high quality and it must be unique. It has lots and lots of views about 10-20 million and also has many comments. And when you have all this then it would be possible that it ranks number 1 on youtube.

To rank high on Youtube your title has to be keyword rich. Also you need to do keyword research to find out what keywords people are searching on the more organic the better. Then take your keywords that you have compiled and place them in your description. Have your link in the beginning of the description. Then ask some friends to rate, subscribe and comment. It is important to have all three done together. I would also blast out my video to other video sharing sites so you can have multiple listings on google rather than one.

Well, you might have problems at your own end now. Check for both low and high search volume keywords and then apply them. hope this option will work.

Guys you need to do proper keywords optimization in your videos. I am surprised to see how people are failing with Youtube marketing. Right you are. It's not so simple as it seems from the first sight.

You guys are forgetting the video tags, aside to the video title and the video description, video tags views and likes are the most important factors.
