These tips are great! Youtube is an amazing free place to advertise! It is currently the 5th most visited site on the internet reaching more than 80 million people monthly! As Joy said, the key to generating traffic is by giving away useful information focused on what you are promoting. The more useful that the information is, the more people will want to hear what you have to say. I love Youtube!

I saw a lady who had a makeup channel on Youtube. She just did videos of herself doing makeup on herself teaching different techniques. About 3 minutes each max. Very low tech. She has about 400 of these videos and get MILLIONS of visitors. She does clinics all over because of this Youtube celebrity. A series of how to videos might be a good format for different niches.

Be careful with this. The search engines are now looking at traffic quality as part of their algorithms. Also, affiliate giants like ebay are starting to penalize (lower reimbursments) for poor traffic quality. This does work, but may not be what you want.

it is easy to put youtube video in your site. just use the embed function.

after the movie, you will be able to see the embedding code. Just copy and paste it to your site. You will have that particular video on your site.
