It shows that the admin are receptive to change for the greater good of the program!

QUOTE (opport @ Nov 1 2011, 10:14 AM) thanks, BiblicalBeast ...it is not so much urgent to have my money...when it will come, it will be welcome! ...but it is just that i am afraid that i would loose them....it is alertpay in this moment sure? do you not have problems when you ask for a withdraw? ....my friend said that he was waiting for a check about 3 weeks before it arrived in our country!.....so if i want that this money come here in middle of decembre, i must withdraw it in middle of november, hm....what about bank transfer? i need all those numbers of my bank, right? for me I never had a problem and always received my request within the estimated date, usually it's the very last estimated day, lol. When you click withdraw in your AP it will show how much the fee is and how long it will take. It depends where you live. So it's understandable for your friend to get that check in 3 weeks. If you noticed the estimated waiting day for a check it is more waiting than a bank transfer especially if you live in another country. Remember AP is based in Canada. And yeah if you haven't done so already if you want, link you bank account with your AP so you can request withdraws via bank transfer.

Hi Biblical, Is Alertpay doing bank transfers for U.S. citizens again? I thought there was an issue with bank transfers for us. I thought right now the only way to do it is via a check, and they are waiving the fee for the check because we are not able to do it via bank transfer. Just wondering. It also doesn't look as if they have resolved their credit card issue yet either. The last post on their blog said yesterday or today, but still can't fund JBP via AP using a credit card. Sigh, all these hold ups. ETA - Also, when you request a check payment from AP, how long does it generally take you to get it in the U.S.? Do you have any issues cashing it at your bank? How long before the check clears? Do you remember what bank Alertpay's checks are drawn on? I know RBC or Royal Bank of Canada branches are here where I live, so I just wonder if that's the bank they use. Thanks for any help you can give.

I have had some recent experiences with Alertpay and can help answer your questions. We still cannot do bank transfers in the U.S. For checks the processing time is two days and both the checks I received took 5 days in the mail. The checks are drawn on BOA in New York. I had heard that banks were holding the checks for 10 days. However, I deposited mine in my C.U. and both were immediately available. In the future, since my withdrawals are so large, I think it will be worth paying the 15.00 for a wire so it is available immediately. For smaller withdrawals this would not be a good option. Russ

I agree. We don't need stuff posted in a mammoth-sized font to be able to read it. A small font can just as easily get your message across. lol
