Important StormPay Policy Change:

Dear Valued StormPay customer,

Effective immediately StormPay Inc. will no longer accept payments for sales made outside of StormPay Auctions. If you are an online seller who wishes to sell your product or service through the StormPay system, your item must be sold using the StormPay Auctions feature. Listing in the StormPay Auctions is FREE of charge unless utilizing our inexpensive upgraded listing options.


Q: Why has StormPay implemented this new policy?

A: StormPay has rendered certain policy changes to insure a safer online experience for both buyers and sellers. This policy change allows StormPay to more closely monitor the products/services sold, insuring that sold items are within StormPay’s acceptable use policies.

Under these new policy guidelines, customers may no longer log into a StormPay account for the purpose of sending money to another online user, or “offsite” website sale. All “spends” and “receives” are and only can be for the specific purchase of a user’s auction listing and successful purchase of.

Subscriptions (recurring billing) is no longer supported by the StormPay system. All current subscriptions have been cancelled. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

They probably lost their merchant account and are now trying to backtrack with a less effective merchant. Not that anyone really cares at this point. Stormpay just died.

After reading that, you are correct. They have just died. Now they think they are an auction site?

Seriously, does this really mean the end is near? ( Soon I hope )

Right !! They don't have the money transmitter license for each state.

Looks good on them because now they are just a tiny little auction site that will collapse and fall into thin air soon to be forgotten by thousands who made them millions.
Hope they saved up enough to finish the upgrades on their headquarters because after they collapse completely they will all need a place to stay (under a tarp) after the bank repos all thier homes in siezures!

lol when i had some funds left in stormpay i emailed 100 people from the stormpay auction site to see if they would accept strompay, only a few said yes. by then it was too late for me as my account was frozen.
not many have funds left in there and if you try to take them out they were backcharged anyways.

Scampay shot themselves in the foot back in late Jan , they could made many millions more if they just let people do their own business. Now they are aiming right between the eyes , about time too !!!

yup, but for now their payment processor status is gone, so this thread has no reason for being here and should be moved into the SCAM section!
