You have to be careful using Craigslist because over-posting can lead to both ghosting and flagging. Neither is good for business.

The trick is to sell something cheap and easy to deliver...I have sold this certain ebook(see signature below) like 55 times in the last two weeks. Its only 10 bucks and has tons of crap in it...I bought it myself because I couldn't find any good products to sell online and this thing had some cool stuff in it.

I have known a few people who uses craigslist as one of her way of earning. What she usually do is the "buy and sell" practice. Since there are a lot of people who are into electronics and gadgets in our area, she goes out (mostly online) and finds those gadgets for sale that is cheap and in good condition. If there are a few fixes that can be done she does it and then re sells it at a higher price. I don't know the success rate on it but she always have money so I guess it works for her.

This is where most advertisers fail on, since they have been on many ad sites, they tend to think that almost everyone is the same but they are not. Reading the rules and guidelines is one way of knowing on how an advertiser can get the most out of the site. If you fail in getting sales from such site as Craigslist, it doesn't mean that it is weak, it might mean that you have failed in something.
