I am a Malaysian. I do not own a credit card. How do I get my Paypal account verified.?

Any assistance/advice from my fellow Malaysians???

i dun think there is any other choices. but paypal is pretty useless in malaysia unless u r singaporean.

anyway, good luck 2 ur future venture n' 新年快乐! and dun forget 2 giv me am pau when u kaya, k? about 18hrs left...

you will not be able to WD from Paypal unless you have an account with an international bank - i think this means you have to open an account with a foreign bank. too much hassle, especially if you dont have a CC.

better to use e-currency such as Egold, Intgold and fund those accounts either by using Asianagold or some of the members here may also help if they can.

btw, gong xi fa cai to you and all members who celebrate CNY.

I joined a dxgold-based trading program (www.dxmerchant.com) in Sep 2004, and now got stuck with them after they went into some scripting problems .

Now that they have been acquired by a new owner, the latter requires that all accounts with www.dxmerchant.com needs to be verified by their Paypal account.

Hence, I sign-uped for a Paypal account, and of course I, being a Malaysian found out that my Paypal account needs to be further verified by entering my CC details. To make matter worst, I do not have a CC.

So I guess I am stuck.

BTW, dollarmaker, Gong Xi Fa Cai means Wishing you Happiness and Prosperity . The Chinese community in Malaysia will be celebrating their Chinese new Year tomorrow. (9th Feb)..

I think you can try to get a VISA ELECTRON Debit Card. Just need you I.C. to apply. I recommend you apply with Public Bank one and after you got your card, use it for Paypal verification. Of course you will need to fund minimum $1.95 in USD in your card for Paypal verification.

Alex, You can verify it with a Master virtual card.

Can do it with bsn visa electron giro card! it's free direct link with it. When you open an account there.. they will giv u 2 card, atm and debit card. Used it to verify then

a withdrawal unless you have a U.S. bank account, or you can
exchange it with a friend from the U.K. or U.S.A. I used to exchange
Paypal to INTGold or Stormpay with a friend who lives in the U.K.

You can also use the funds in Paypal to make purchases in Paypal
shops online.

I used mine to buy some Home Theatre equipments from the internet.

I recently used some of the funds in Paypal to buy a subwoofer for
my Home Theatre from the U.S.A. It's kind of... you feel you get it for
free coz' you don't see the money jumping out of your wallet.

Just got my paypal verified. Damn, it ain't easy without a credit card.
Hopefully they will give me back $1.95 into my paypal a/c.

FYI, I'm using Citibank Visa credit card. Somehow I never thought the
transaction will go through, but it did. Just wait till end of the month,
you should get your statement with the validation number in your statement.
Punch that number into your paypal, and voila, you are verified.

I don't know if this help, but if u eagerly need an account of paypal, u can verified it without using credit card.
Apply for a PR advantage visa electron card(PB bank)/Giro visa electron/standard chartered(SC have problem with paypal, choose the rest 2 instead). Its with verisign approve and all the security system for online transaction, convinient for those who not qualified as a approved credit card holder, so get visa debit card instead of Credit card.

The fee is only RM25, and no monthly fee on your bills and the subscription is waived for 1 year.
To withdraw paypal, i used asianpay. its convinient, eventhough its slightly expensive, but better than nothing to withdraw at all from your paypal account. Or else, use your fund in paypal to purchase goods from ebay online shops ........sounds good better than nothing
