AlertPay is an excellent processor and we've had absolutely no issues whatsoever with them as a company. We do ALOT of transfers daily using their services. They've also gone over and above and a staff member is a member on our own support forums to answer AlertPay questions. If you've got frozen funds then use the proper information.
If you've received a chargeback go after the person who did it and not the middle man.
AlertPay can't be expected to suck up your loss because your purchaser was a scammer?

I've used my AlertPay verified account since 2006, not much, mostly to lend my son $ and he transfers it to my AlertPay. After it built up over $300 I decided to move it to my bank, May 25, 2008. Not sure how to show you a "screen shot". I don't know how to take one but I copied and pasted the only page I have access to after logging in, below.
I had never had a problem before but for what seems like no reason except that I was taking my money out, AlertPay has locked my account. I believed they were having a security problem and believed them when they said it was "temporary" so I didn't send an inquiry until 4 days later asking them to let me know when their security problem was cleared up and got a standard reply that I would have a reply in 3 to 6 days. After another week or so I sent them another inquiry when their "temporary" problem appeared to be not so temporary. Their phone # apparently doesn't work in the US.
I decided to check forums to see if they were going sour. I don't think ppl would take time to bad-mouth if they didn't have a good reason. In the past year the only thing I used Alertpay for were 3 transfers from my son. If that has become against their policy they should have said so. The ironic thing is my son is not verified and his account is not locked. It appears they only lock your account when you try to transfer $ to the bank. I don't know what's going on. This is just a word of caution to let you know what's going on with me. I'm holding onto hope that they will release my funds. And hope they haven't really hired extra ppl to answer emails cause then I would have to ask why the sudden influx of emails. Are they freezing everyone's account who tries to withdrawal? Just doesn't make sense to hire ppl when all they need to do is give us our $.
