E-gold Newbie Questions

Hello all, thank you in advance Im new to the scene and have a few questions about E-gold, mostly pretaining to the security and risks.. I can't offer you much for your time but a promise that within the next few weeks as i start this HYIP venture, I will use those that help me as referalls...

I am going to establish a seperate email solely for the egold registration. I do not plan on ever checking the mail from my personal computer, if I feel the need to open a mail from Egold or anyone claiming to be Egold it will be from a public computer. Obviously I would never give my account info to anyone. ??What are the flaws of this approach besides its inconveinience? It is possible to maintain an account this way correct, I mean does anyone forsee any potential problems?

If I access my Egold account on my PC from their webpage how much fear should I have of being hacked if I follow their suggested login procedures? I plan on trying to keep a minimal amount of Egold in my account, withdrawing weekly or bi-weekly to Mygcard.

Lastly...When I sign up for a given HYIP I have to give them details on my Egold account in order for them to make transactions..What potential fear should I have of having my Egold account robbed by submitting this info to a HYIP. For example if I authorize a HYIP to take x amount of Egold, couldnt they just double the order, clean me out and disappear the next day? Im kinda unclear on the notion...How safe are these sites account setup pages? Anything I should be aware of?
