I designed a brief checklist to determine if you are an online money making addict like me...and might want to be my friend.

Do you:

1) Check e-mail or your paypal account more than five times a day?

3) Spend more time chatting, surfing, prospecting, and in forums than eating or sleeping?

4) Surf aimlessly with no direction, if only to be online, with the Money Makers Group finding other partners in crime?

5) Leave your name and information at countless sites if only to hope you'll receive a reply one day from a company you'll never do business with anyway?

6) Log on before important personal habits, such as meal preparation, hygiene, getting dressed, or bodily functions?

7) Go more than a day without a shower or shaving, after swearing that you would do it after checking your favorite blog (again)?

8) Spend hours online on the weekends, where you'd usually be griping about your carpal tunnel syndrome Monday-Friday?

If you answered yes to 3 or more questions, you have a problem...and we'll make great friends by turning our personality disorders into a damn fine way to make a living.

I am having my morning coffee and stumbled across this thread lol Yeah I had to laugh, actually you kick started my day on a good note.

Your poll is interesting, but I have no answer to any of your questions therefore didn't vote. errmm sorry bout that. I don't belong to any team and technically ride by the seat of my pants in this industry. Always on the lookout for something that I can make a buck in without relying on others to feather my nest. But of course if others want to join where I am having fun and make some dollars of course they are welcome. Not all people have the upfrontedness to be a marketeer, takes all types to make the world go round, but there are opportunities that come along and can be taken advantage of along the way. I am more of the "happy to earn constantly" than the big go for broke. So far has been working ok for me. The greed factor gets many in, and of course you get that everywhere in life.

So really the pain of not making money online?? Negativity gets you nowhere. Be positive and accountable to yourself and stick to ground rules and you will succeed. Aim for the stars, but accept reality. Best of luck in your ventures and remember to take the time to enjoy life too.

For the record I am probably what you would classify as an addict though Ain't nothin wrong with that.

Yes some great observations in those points.

The thing is though, doing all that stuff - not showering and the like! Does Not make you more productive!

Managing your time does.

Being online all day, checking blogs, just doing this one thing... before going to the bathroom!!!!!! is not going to make you more money than sitting down, making a plan, doing what you need to do to meet your goals on that plan...

... and then taking a break - go make your dinner, walk the dog, go for a drink...

And be Really productive when you're sitting at the computer.

Ok, that's my rant over.

If you don't want to shower, then ok, fair enough, but get some deodorant!
