To set up an offshore is quite easy, but to know how to use it, that is the question.

It depends where you are living, if you are a US-citizen and for what purpose you want to use your offshore.

It's actually relatively simple. Your IBC is the entity that earns the money, off-shore and tax-free.

You are a seperate entity, on-shore (presumably) and a tax payer.

The IBC pays you for certain services you provide, and you pay tax on those payments, of course.

However, you also need your expenses covering (that you won't pay tax on). The easiest way for the IBC to do this is to give you an anonymous ATM card. Then you pull money out of the IBC account whenever you wish and, IF you ever get questioned (which is highly unlikely) the funds are expenses - legitimate and free from tax.

Make sure the people who deal with the company registration are actually in the Country you choose. It will make things easier for you when you need something. i.e Panama IBC bought from an outfit in Europe.

If you want to use that offshore company to pay less tax, you got to have suitable proof that you actually need it, and its not just a shell company for hiding 'tax money'.

Now once you have that company, and a decent enough excuse for having it offshore - you have an international client base for example - you can then start sending money home to pay your wages, for expenses or to buy equipment/capital for the company (cars,computers,offices).

Withdrawing money with an 'anonymous atm card' sure is possible, but is it really that anonymous? Think very carefully. The number of cashpoints that have cameras on them (especially in the UK/US) will make you think twice about this, especially if what your doing is 'technically illegal'.

I'm not in a position to recommend any particularly service yet, but I do know from friend's experiences that its not always a good idea to use somebody 'in country'. My friend has been trying for about 2 months to get a panama company with a legal firm in panama. He already paid now they never answer his calls.

You also have to know where to put your company, and every 'offshore service provider' from the cook islands to Gibraltar will be telling you that his jurisdiction is perfect for you, right up until you pay - then theres nothing more you can do.

I know some very good New Zealand, but where I have my company is called: tradersbanks.com, there are several banks. I'll advice you to first reports to prevent future problems. In my case I was recommended by my partner with whom we do business, as they already have accounts with this bank for years ago.
