I'm referring to the MMG Sponsor Altergold Banner displayed with reflink AG100112.

This reflink is know as the reflink used on banners displayed into FastProfit Network autosurf website and their group of scams site (DailyIncome Surf,AltergoldSurf and more)

Ok, I have spoke to one of the partners of Altergold. I was told that the reason this referral URL is seen so much is because AG has multiple marketing directors. Each one is giving a referral url to use in their campaigns so that the company can track the results. See if money spent was worth it, etc..etc.

AG has no personal ties to FPN and I was told frankly that they wouldn't cause the guy from FPN is Romanian.

If people think AG is a scam just because advertising was bought on FPN, well that's not to good of Due Diligence because I was told that the referral link posted is used on over 100 sites, not all of them scams. MMG, TG and many other sites.

Do you have anything else that ties AG to these so called "scams"? Or just a referral link because one marketing guy advertised on programs where his target audience is visiting?

I encourage you to discuss these things, but please do so in the the proper forums. If you would like to debate the legitimacy of AG, please take the conversation into the AG thread. This is a bug and comment thread for the changes here at MMG only. If it is conclusively determined that a business is doing wrong, then we will remove it immediately as always.

If you would like to get the attention of MMG staff to matters like these, please create a topic in the proper forum and then PM Yippee or a moderator to bring it to their attention. Alternatively, you can post it in a thread like this without making it go off topic by simply posting a link back to the topic you created.

The "bug" on 1.5 is the lack of money that encourage MMG to accept money from everyone and keep an unethical behaviour.

First of all, what you're referring to would not be a "bug", it would be a question of our business practices and has nothing to do with our forum software or site design/usability.

Secondly, you have been around and supported MMG for quite some time and I'm sure you've been witness to all the rumors and speculation that surround MMG and it's advertising and business practices. Everyone has their own opinions and theories of what happens at MMG behind closed doors, and fortunately most of them are completely dead wrong.

I will clear the air once again, as it has been done several times in the past. MMG currently is in the forum business, NOT the hyip, ecurrency, or any other business. We facilitate discussions about these topics, and hire a staff both paid and unpaid to moderate these discussions and keep them in line and on topic. We accept advertising as our primary form of revenue, and we only accept it from new companies, or existing companies with a clean track record. Unfortunately, most of the companies that advertise on MMG are new and there is no way for us to know for sure how they will choose to run their business in the future. If a company starts to go bad, or breaks our terms of service, or hurts our members, we immediately stop their advertising and refuse to accept future monies from them. We DO NOT ever participate, do favors for, or manipulate the advertising or companies here on MMG, doing so would ruin our credibility which has been very good since MMG's birth.
