QUOTE(ceoinvestments @ Apr 2 2007, 10:19 PM) I was strongly considering buying a banner add for my program. I was just wondering why is there so many none industry related banners in rotation. Shhhh if I am to pay $400 plus for an add I would like the maximum impressions possible. Do you think its fair for the paying customer. I don't! I really don't care to see true, eharmony and the rest of this none industry related ads. I guess I am not in charge but I cannot bring myself to buy banners when I feel like it not worth it because I am sharing space with this useless ads that are in there as filler and of no use to the members of MMG.
They should be removed just my suggestion
I noticed that too actually. Who knows? Someone could be advertising their affiliate links or something. I don't think Jason or them said that non-hyip banners aren't allowed... It's advertising despite what is advertised, he shouldn't have to turn them down as long as they abide with the terms.

These are paying customers through one of our partner advertising networks. Many of them are paying significantly higher eCPM's than we charge our direct advertisers. Our "industry" advertisers are getting everything they pay for and usually significantly more.

Also, please note that your ad is shown with the same frequency regardless of how many advertisers we have, since there are limited numbers of slots available for each section.

Please review this post: http://www.moneymakergroup.com/index.php?s...t&p=3883354MMG does NOT have pop- UPS, nor are they 24 hours.

QUOTE(eltentador @ Apr 3 2007, 03:33 AM) Dear admins,
I guess it's some kind of wrong way in making business. There is no chance to make all in one and reach success. MMG is a place related to investment industry. The ads which show "Get the next generation of smileys" make me ( me only?) feel strange. Doesn't matter how much they are. You lose the main targeted visitors... It's hardly possible to sell such places without them. I do really like MMG but such new things make me finding another places to talk about investment. Targeted ads are okay, but these....
Sorry.
MMG is a discussion board and, in general, people like using fun new smilies. Just because you might not be interested in that kind of service doesn't mean those ads don't perform well or resonate with the MMG members. Only allowing HYIP niche advertisers is akin to an investment magazine (ex: Forbes) only accepting advertisements for brokerages; it would be foolish to have this policy. MMG has a diverse readership base interested in various different things. If a legitimate company wants to try and target some of our user base, and is willing to pay the same rates and sometimes more, why would we turn them down? Displaying these ads doesn't make us lose our main targeted visitors. Like 99%+ sites on the webs, people visit to read content. As always, we are still taking direct advertising orders and they will get everything they pay for and usually more.

Ok thanks for the reply. 1. Any way these banners are out of this world at all. Imagine. I have 1 PM (!) right now. Midnight or something like that. I have hi end audio on. I do nothing and opps I am getting that """""""" smiles' sound. I couldn't imagine such situation before.... not here at least. You are lucky you haven't heard the words from my wife.... Ok doesn't matter. 2. As business man I do really understand you. As far as from many investigations I have seen the world of hyip is going to be fail. So, there are no good investors and really big money-bags. So, probably it's a good way to keep cash flow the same. Unfortunately early 2000-03 have gone. One more cent about that. I would beg, really beg. It's not just another type of business. Hyip world really differs. regular rules don't work here. That's all. Thanks for your reply once again.
