Just wondering if anyone here has used Myspace.com as a means of free advertising. I always get friend requests from local restaurants, clubs, and business's, and in fact they actually worked on me.

Not sure if the same success would occur if you use Myspace to advertise an online business, but for off line business's it is an amazing tool I imagine. For instance if you own a nightclub in Flagstaff Arizona, that caters to the 21-30 year age group. All you do is search for 21-30 year olds in the Flagstaff area, and request them as friends. Make sure you have a nice page with pictures from your club and what is offered. It's a sure way of getting new clientel I'm sure. any experiences with using Myspace for online and or offline advertising would be welcomed.

What you have to do is find people related to the niche you are looking to sell to. Build a talking relationship with them and then slowly pitch to them your product or service. People will feel much more comfortable sending you money if they feel they know you relatively well.

My space Has been a great place to meat like minded people and learn a lot!

Myspace has helped smalltime local artists become bigtime, like bands and plays

just make sure you keep your advertising clean and valuable

Myspace has a business forum and chat and there are definitely some interesting ppl to share ideas and build your network with

I have invited quite a few people to join my network, however, they were just randomly selected. I'll concentrate on building relationships in future with the friends I have.

I made a myspace for my group that I was in to advertise my website and than I used a friend adder and have got over 10,000 friends so far and growing. And all I have to do to remind all of them to go to my website is to post a bulletin.
