Yes it is possible to make money from youtube however it is currently quite hard as there are a lot of rival and competitive videos on there so unless you can some how get a lot of views and show people that your content is better than everybody elses then it is highly unlikely that you will make any money.

You can make money from Youtube if you use it in conjunction with social media. Give links to your videos out on all the social media places you are a member of and have links to your product in the description field of your video.

In my experience, even bad videos convert. People like to see real people on Youtube. We expect actors on TV, but want real people that we can relate to on Youtube.
