MMG could also recognize good contributing members every week.

Feature the person and the their links. I feel as long as you spot light the person and not the programs you should be Ok

Featured people could also get a FREE banner ad for the week or day or days also.

You could also feature previous nominee's in a locked thread.

I think members could get reputation points as as in some forums Karma points.

Being able to identfy members in good standing and good reputation may just
save a few newbies some time and trouble.

You could run polls for top twenty members.

Jason get over here; this is the separate thread you have asked for.

Let us reconize the deserving members for a change. This could even motivate more people to become helpful and nice in MMG.

Yeah, I think this is a great idea.

Instead of seeing only the bad in members, it's time to reward those who has been very good at MMG..

I think its a lot complicate to judge a person, also we have hundreds active member.
But, i agree to have such reward.

If MMG cant judge such a thing they have lost touch with its members.

Oh wow! sounds great but that would mean a lot of work for
Jason and the mods, especially with the huge amount of members
that are here, and more joining every day.

We know we are appreciated if there are no warnings in our profile.
And our post do not get edited. So why force all this work on Jason and the mods?

I vote NO as this would cause trouble with some of the members
You know what I mean... if they didn't get an award on the first go
around they would start mouthing off about it, saying Jason has favorites...
and etc, etc.
and then they would be asking the winner of the award, what they did to deserve it..

I would rather have Jason and the mods working at keeping peace in the forum
than starting trouble with such ego building things like useless awards..
that just take up space.

Let's keep things as they are and try not to stir up trouble in the forum..
Keeping up with the post and keeping peace between members in the forum
is a full time job as it is.

yeh whoever sucks up to admin the most wins i guess.......

i reckon mmg should have a huge competition and whoever wins get a banner rotation for a year or something..

will bring a bit of life back to mmg

Kowgirl and ChrisMono, i think you miss the point here!

No one is asking Jason and the Mods to be the judge, this isn't a competition.

I think we, the members should pick our favorite MMG members and get them into a monthly vote.

More importantly the Admin misses the point.

Was a waste of time posting about it.

We aren't missing the point, we just haven't found a good way to implement a MMG member rewards program.
