We do try to have a mix of contests. Sometimes it can be down to time constraints. Those with themes where replies to specific questions have to be followed quite closely, whereas those with number guesses can be left for a while.

My own view is to just take part in those you like.

We recently posted about the forum admins giving $1 for all Supporter Upgrades made between now and the end of December.

The total will be sent to the charity which has got the most votes in a poll to be held soon. Please feel free to nominate any charities you`d like the proceeds to goto which will be added to the poll.

Finally, if any winners of our contests during that time period would like their winnings to be added to the Upgrades money, rather than it being sent to their LR Ac., just mention that in the Contest thread.

I think the contests are fun and wonder why not more members are in them. A $ here and there all adds up and even if you don't win might just learn one or two things on the way. Also gives an opportunity to perhaps donate a little back to the MMG charity, I was thinking I was gonna do that, say perhaps 50% of what I win if lucky to win some.. well in fact yesterday I got lucky so next time I am gonna ask to have that $ sent to the MMG charity account

I just participated for the first time recently. So can't say how it is. But i think it is very exciting.
