It is with a sad and heavy heart I start this topic
However, as word spreads fast and it is inevitable that comments will be posted in various places, and with the knowledge that many of you really want to express your feelings openly.... maybe it would be nice to have somewhere to do so.
I am pretty sure Dorky really wouldn't want the fuss. Many of you who I have shared this with have all agreed on that too
But....
After all.... if anyone deserves a memorial thread it is him.

Dorky passed away on March 10th 2009.
He was a legendary figure to many here on MMG and elsewhere too, but MMG was his "home".
He will be sorely missed, his posts, colourful and sincere.
His kind nature and generosity!

I have no words to express all the things I would like to say about Dorky, but one thing, during the short time I was so lucky to know him, he was a fantastic friend!

Dorky, you have found peace and I wish you all the best on your travels beyond

I would like to make a request to the MMG admin team;
As I know Dorky always dreamed of being a lifetime supporter of MMG and he actually even posted this somewhere here not too long ago.
Is it possible that he could have that wish fulfilled perhaps?

May Dorky rest in peace. He's been great all these while and been helping a lot of people including me. Thanks for everything bud.

The entire staff is deeply saddened by this news, he has been a fixture here for so long now. We all loved Dorky and will miss him greatly. Dorky has now been made a Lifetime Supporter!

MordK, thanks for starting this topic to bring us this very sad news. I`m really shocked at the news.

Although I`ve only been here a relative short period of time I feel I`ve got to `know` Dorky. I know we all benefited by his presence here, and he`ll be sorely missed.

I can not believe it, I just saw him post in another thread no more than 1-2 weeks ago I believe.

Dorky was the sweetest, most generous and caring gentleman I have ever had the pleasure to meet. I hope as he looks down and reads this thread he finally accepts he was loved and adored by many. You will be missed and never forgot, my friend.

A really sad day indeed in the history of any the forums.

I talked to him a couple weeks back and he was suggesting me some ideas regarding my program and it is really awful to hear this..

I'm truly in shock at this very moment and I honestly did not know he was in not so good health.

Anyhow, I from the deepest of my heart hope that his soul may rest in peace.

Me and this forum will miss your ideas and suggestions forever and ever.

I am very shocked still, and have had tears in my eyes since when i first read this thread. I did not know Dorky that well, but I will truly miss him. He was very informative and helpful in the forum; he also had a great sense of humor. I will really miss him........and I wish his family comfort and peace during this time.

I just recently became acquainted with him and shared a few PM's. I am so very happy I was able to do that. I do know he's much happier and at peace, with no pain...new adventures await you Dorky! You will be greatly missed.
