I have a proposal or an idea or what you will call it lol.I would like to see that New members cant open/start new Topics/Treads.
Also, if am member get banned, and he was the first that started the Topic on a program, Remove his reflink.
I see this almost daily, New ppl coming to the forum, posting all kind of programs, double posting .ext.
There should be a minimum limit for a member to post a new program, or open a new Topic.
There are Way to many miss using this. They know they will get banned, but hey, they got there program out... see the point??
Anyway,, just something that has irritated me for a long time.
Your forum, your rules
And here are a classic example.. Hit and Run!! link
Regards Kent

I like your idea, but I don't it is possible to control with our current IPB scripts. I will investigate the features again to see if there is a way to handle something like this.

How about a way to lock new members out until they do an intro thread. That way they can get all that info first. I dont know if there is a way that when you sign up, that the new member could have important links attached to the confirmation email... not necessarily "LOCK" them out Kind of a you should go here first...
