Thanks for sorting things out last night. Could not respond to the PM because I did not have 250 posts.
I would like to use maxi vote on my website and it would help if you could pm me a step by step guide on how to use it. And the monitors, I see a lot listed for 0.95 and I cant seem to figure out how to set it up. A guide via email would be awesome!

Step by step to add MaxiVote to your site:

1. Sign up for an account - simply enter website url and chose a password then click "get started" on maxivote.com

2. Sign in to your dashboard (using your url and password) either from the main page or the sign in page (please make sure you sign in as a client)

3. Chose the monitors you already have listings with from the extensive list on the right hand side (if you have some which are not there, please send us a mail or click affiliate from the menu and enter the monitor name and url there and we will list is if possible).

4. When you have made your selection, click Add right at the bottom of the list.

5. You will now be required to enter the listing id for each monitor you have selected. It is quite simple to do and is explained inside. For instance if the monitor button code looks like this

1234 is the listing ID.
In some occassions the listing ID will be your program name, but it is easy to spot on the button code or the direct link to your listing on the monitor!

6. If you have trouble with the listing IDs you can chose assist and we will find them for you, note there is an additional charge for this service though.

7. You can now select the number of months you wish to subscribe to those monitors you have selected. The more months you chose the more discount you will get.

8. The total will be shown below without the initial setup fee. There is a note about that inside and it is only the very first time you make a purchase that it is charged.

9. Click the Liberty Reserve button at the bottom when you are done and you will be taken to checkout through there.

10. Once the payment has been made your listing is active and you can copy and paste the button code inside your dashboard, place on your site where ever you please and let your members know it is available!
There are 3 sizes to chose from: Button (175x275) Banner (468x60) Small (120x120)


Hope that is straight forward enough




Optional features:

1. If you haven't already gone through the process of adding monitor buttons to your website or you wish MaxiVote to manage this task for you, you can enter your desired url inside your dashboard in MaxiVote, where you want all the monitors you have active subscriptions for with MaxiVote to show.

2. If you know others who might be interested in using MaxiVote, you will find your affiliate ID by clicking the affilate tab in the menu on MaxiVote. You will make 7% of all ongoing spends for each client you refer. There is also banner codes for all sizes there with your affilate link. You can chose from more banners on the ad kit page.

3. There is a possibility to advertise with MaxiVote, please check out the Advertise link on the main MaxiVote page. This service is free for the time being, so please take advantage.

4. You will be able to view all votes your members cast with MaxiVote. just log into your dashboard and click on the monitor name in your list to view the details. You can use this feature to host competition through voting or simply see who votes and who doesnt (note that the monitor has to be enabled for you to view the details, the colour will be black when enabled and grey if disabled).

5. You can easily disable and enable monitors from inside the dashboard. Some times monitors are down for a longer period of time, and to save your members having to wait a long time when voting for a monitor to load and have MaxiVote search all over cyberspace for it, it is a good idea to disable it temporarily. Other times a monitor might be angry with you and show not paying or something along those lines. once again it is easy to disable the monitor and then enable again once things have been sorted out between you. Use the thumbs down and up to switch modes.

6. When your MaxiVote subscription is about to expire you can renew it from inside the dashboard. You can renew one at a time or multiple monitors as well as chose for how long. The expiry date will show for each monitor in your active list.


I probably left something out, but that's all I can think of right now, so just keep checking this topic on a regular basis... track this topic under options on the top right hand corner is an excellent way to stay tuned!

Well what can I say? At first I was skeptic about maxivote, I thought it was a waste of money. But then saw the prices and tried it out. It is pretty affordable and very easy to integrate into the site.

The list of monitors on my program grew and most were supported by MaxiVote. Some which were not readily available then, were added promptly.

Now look at number of votes on my program! A whopping 1100+.

Voting made easy! that is what i can tell about Maxivote.

I remember how lazy members were back then (70+ days ago) to vote because they had to go through a long list of monitors to rate the program. But now look how convenient voting is and how eager they are to rate the program. It just takes one form to fill and the votes are on their way to all the monitors listed! Amazing, if you ask me.

MaxiVote has helped the growth of my program. Let it help yours too. Try it, you will never ever regret using MaxiVote! It's affordable and easy to integrate! You have got nothing to lose, but lots to gain!

Calling all other admins of programs out there, use MaxiVote! Trust me, it will help your program as it has helped mine!

I like using MaxiVote myself, it makes it easy to vote and that is something I don't often do otherwise.
Clicking all those monitor buttons and waiting for them to load, fill in the form again and again, just not really enjoyable lol
But with MaxiVote its kinda fun I think
