Now for Independent Business Representatives you would need to shop or make a gift Card Purchase of $600.00 and make a $3,000.00 down payment for future shopping.

No, that is not correct. There is only one requirement to become an IBR and that is to sponsor 4 other members. If you email me at TheQuietCenter@gmail.com I will attach the document that proves this. I cannot PM here yet because I dont have 25 posts.

The down-payment for future shopping you are mentioning has to do with becoming a Premium Member. You can be an IBR without being premium and you can be premium without being an IBR. And you can also just be a member and be neither IBR or premium. I happen to be both. And note there are 2 ways to become premium (1) $30k of shopping within a calendar year (2) $3k of units arranged as 7/3/3 in your personal AC 1/2/3. Another important thing is that you can incrementally make this down payment - you dont have to plunk down $3600 dollars all at once. smile.gif

Finally, be careful about directly quoting Lyoness official materials since 1.b in the online policy for members prohibits the use of excerpts. I'm actually guilty of this above when I proved that Lyoness is in fact MLM by directly quoting some of their literature. smile.gif

True, but it's not just through the website. Lyoness provides 4 total ways to shop, 1 online and 3 offline. The only other cashback programs that address offline shopping are the credit card rewards programs and they dont allow for team shopping.

I have spent the last week really digging through everything on Lyoness. It can be explained easily if your audience is strictly someone who wants cash back from shopping and may have friends and family that want the same. Geez, Walmart, gas cards from BP, Exxon/Mobil, Loews, CVS Pharmacy and Outback Steak house alone are things that are located all over the USA that alot of people go to and can buy and earn cash back. I've already used one of the online shops and got some supplements that my online co. does not carry. Macy's is online too, so now I can get things I normally go into the mall for online. And the normal sales at various stores still are good, we get the cash back on top of that. ( I've seen other online shopping discounts that looks cool, then you find out it does not include any sale items.) This company is something my son's can definitely use for some extra cash and have friends that will want to do the same.

As explained in this thread with some repeated eligibility posts, there are no autoships, so this way of earning through shopping is easy. The only requirement is to purchase something in the first 30 days. It does not earn you huge sums joining just to shop, but it is "free" money back and there are numerous places that many of us shop at. My "offline" friends will like this idea alot. They know what I do for a living online and they have regular jobs and prefer it that way, but they certainly would go for shopping with cashbacks.

From the business side, I have been reading, rereading, asking questions to my upline, etc. Once it totally sinks in, the business side is something else, especially having the ability to get into other countries and end up with residual income from them without personally building in those other countries. I've been mulling this over for months since it does not conflict with my primary online business, but never took the time to really dig into it. Once you "get it", this is a long term company with the potential to earn a very good income. It is not a quick money game. This is long term and real. Then on the other side, if you decide you just want to shop and earn cashback, you never are out any money because even if you come in at the highest premium level, you eventually get that 3K back in units you can shop with. It won't be cash back, but you can turn around and buy gas, food, rx, clothing, building supplies, music, etc., etc. THAT I LOVE - something where I will not be permanently out of pocket!

I'm glad I have such knowledgeable uplines. The other great part is you do not need more than 4 members that can just shop on your first level. Then you can help others build beneath you that are interested in the business side of Lyoness. Even if you do not have knowledgeable uplines as I saw in an earlier post, I purposely called the New York office the other day to ask a couple of questions just to check out their service. They are extremely helpful and even offered to take the time to look up my scanned check to make sure it was received and was clearly legible. I was on hold only about 20 seconds. They asked if I needed anything else. The customer service no. in New York, where the office is located in the Empire state building is: 1 646 537 2547.

The only concern I have had on this forum thread, is people are putting information out that is not correct and in some cases violates Lyoness company terms. I was reading some of it and it actually made me go back and dig even more to make sure I knew what was correct. It is not proper to just come in here and post that you are in the co. and will sign up people. Hopefully that may just be because some of the posts are from very new MMG members that possibly don't know the rules, but these MLM threads are intended to be useful for people finding out information. There is alot of information on Lyoness, and I want to make sure I know the correct information. I hope that improves here now and this can be a thread where people can share information. Hey - that is another thing I like about this company - I've already been given contact information for someone living a few hours from me that is not in our upline but is more than happy to talk to me about the criteria of referring small business merchants that you know personally since she has done this a few times already and to also discuss the units in other countries since she has done this in several countries/continents. One of my upline already has partial units in other countries/continents as well but it is nice to talk to more than one person and one that I may try to meet when Paul and I are on vacation in October since we will be down where she resides.

I'm quite interested in receiving cash back on my daily, weekly and monthly shopping and getting paid for telling others.

Is this opportunity available in Australia?

Is this opportunity available to individuals like myself or just businesses or both?

Is this only a two tier compensation opportunity?

Thanks, I'm looking forward to your answers! smile.gif

How many referral levels does Edit: off topic have?

Lyoness is certainly not just a shopping site, lol!!! This is a major business in many countries around the world. I joined after reviewing for quite a while and am surprized how quickly I got credit for shopping at an online store. The online stores definitely honor all sale prices in effect, this one had free shipping too, then the Lyoness credits are applied on top of that. Lyoness also offers their own special discount coupons for online shopping. One of those I saw yesterday is for a store where my husband Paul buys most of his clothing. So when I use that store to shop, I will get any sale prices they have in effect at the store, plus get the additional Lyoness coupon offer discount! This is just one way to grow your business. For those that just want to just shop and build up more slowly into the matrix with what they get credited for shopping, this does also pay you for people you refer two levels.

Here is verification that my order went through the Lyoness site (I have shopped through other links before and had them bounce me out, this went through just fine)

"Dear Mrs. Wiesner,

Thank you for placing an order with a Lyoness loyalty merchant for online shopping! We are delighted to have you profit right along with Lyoness. After all, happy members are our top priority.

Here is the overview of your purchases from: 8/29/2012

Loyalty Partner: drugstore.com
Purchase Total: 206.85 USD
Benefit: 2.00%
Cashback: 4.13 USD
Loyalty benefit: 5.00%
Loyalty benefit: 10.34 USD

You receive Cashback in your cash account as soon as your purchase is complete, taking into account applicable exchange deadlines and delivery periods.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our office:

Telephone: +1 (646) 537 2547
Fax: +1 (646) 537 1728
Email: office@lyoness.us "

Then a couple of hours later my backoffice was updated, the monies credited, and I am now a member (Remember, you have to place an order within the first 30 days of joining Lyoness):

"Congratulations Mrs. Wiesner, you are now a Lyoness Member!

Your first purchase or first order has been successfully entered and processed in the Lyoness Loyalty Program. Now you can also benefit from "money back with every purchase!"
Your Purchase
Loyalty Merchant ID/ Description Amount
drugstore.com 206.85 USD
Total 206.85 USD
4.13 USD Cashback
+ 10.34 USD Loyalty Benefit
14.47 USD Member Benefit"

I'm quite pleased with the timeliness of processing this through my Lyoness account and the clarity of the emails.

Well even a regular member earns on Income Streams 3 and 4. So they are actually earning on infinite referral levels for those 2 streams.

This is some sweet cashback.

And since the business-oriented shoppers will force their Income Stream 1 (personal cashback) into Loyalty Benefits, this one purchase can put $14.47 into the loyalty account. Let's call that $15. That means 4 more shops just like this forms a unit.

So I'm guessing that purchase will hold you for 2 months? So assuming you do that every other month, you will take 8 more months to form a unit.

And since Income Stream 3 pays regardless of how deep the referral is, here would be my strategy:
  • find 4 regular shoppers
  • teach 4 to reach 4 (now you have 16 + 4 members)
  • teach 4 to teach the reached 4 how to reach and teach 4 (my what a tongue twister) ... now you are well past the 35-70 members you need to fill units quickly. And you are getting $675 like clockwork for every $75 that you shop for or partially pay for.

But of course this is a gross underestimate because you still have gasoline to buy and we cover that with cashback as well.

I sure am glad Byron and you are my upline. smile.gif I plan on doing alot more than shopping. Just waiting for my check to clear Lyoness so I can come in with units immediately and will buy gift cards for gas at BP and Exxon/Mobil and gift cards for Walmart. I asked Walmart if these can be used for food as well since we have a Walmart with a grocery store down the street and they can. The Walmart employee also said they could be used at Sam's Club. I'll let you know on that next time we go to Sam's. We also spend alot at Loew's so will probably get one there too. In a couple of months I'll buy a couple of Outback Steak House cards for the kid's for stocking stuffers.

Thanks for the compliment Denise.

Here is one of my purchases:

Here is the overview of your purchases from: 6/26/2012

Loyalty Partner: Magazines.com, Inc.
Purchase Total: 37.95 USD
Benefit: 2.00%
Cashback: 0.75 USD
Loyalty benefit: 20.00%
Loyalty benefit: 7.59 USD

I earned 11% of a unit in one small purchase!

I might start selling magazine subscriptions after this. I've done it for my kids school fund
raising in the past......new career....nawwww.

I use the Wal-mart and BP/Arco gift cards. Also, just found out the BP gas cards work
at the T/A truck stops around the US. Think of the cost saving on yearly fuel for a trucker.

Lighten.gifI just realized I can approach independent truckers and tell them I can
show them how to save a minimum of 2% on their yearly fuel cost....hmmm. I gotta talk
to my brother-in-law.

Figure 3,000+ miles a week divided by 7 mpg = 428 gallons x $4 gallon = $1700+ a week x 2%
= $34+ a week cash back. That's almost a unit every two weeks.

I'm contacting my sister right now!

I am now a Premium Partner with Lyoness. The process went quite smoothly. It only took a few days for the scanned check I sent to show up in my Lyoness backoffice. I then used the appropriate online form to order the required $600 in gift cards and then the partial downpayments of $3,000 totalling $3,600 all together to become a Premier Partner. Note: you do not have to come in at this level. If you are interested in the business side in addition to the cashback, friendship bonus' for referring others and loyalty rewards available to all, you can spend less. That has been explained in this thread, so I will not reiterate here. I just want everyone to know that the money showed up in Lyoness quickly, and Lyoness was equally quick to post it to my account. The very next day my immediate upline told me he had 40 credits in his backoffice from my purchase.

Now I am really excited, I will be able to buy units in Brazil and Asia since I joined as Premier. Those will not mature for a number of years, but that is the passive side of Lyoness, buying units in a country not yet opened and coming in ahead of others. Some people choose to come in at Premier, buy units in countries not yet launched and then just wait for things to mature. I much prefer to be active in the USA with the business. Geez, I have personal friends that do not work on online business' that will do this strictly for the shopping cash back and friendship bonus' alone, and be happy when they also eventually get a loyalty reward!

I signed up my husband and son's a couple of days ago (those of you that know me here probably know I always put my family into things that offer residual income) and everything went smoothly. They are now members since they all shopped to get qualified. It only took 1 day for two of them to show up as qualified members and the other took 2 days. Everything I have experienced has been efficient and timely. I am quite pleased with Lyoness. My husband is anxious to learn more over the weekend and is looking forward to exploring bringing in small business' since he knows the owners of a few personally. That is another area of income that has been mentioned in this thread previously.

Good for you annadenise, I have been Premium from the get go. And have posted on how to be a shopper free to join and shop online or order gift cards. I found that most people don`t get it at first but once they go through the shopping and see cash back build up slowly but surly it gets exciting. beer.gif

I'm so glad you showed me Lyoness Denise. I just started flipping through all the merchants and it has way way more than my shopDISCOVER partner list. Most of the deals are even better too, I may become a shopaholic with all the deals they have!

Needless to say I'm REGISTERED thumbup(1).gif
