I bookmark just about every page of my site(s) as well as various articles I've written and such. I use all the major sites (Mixx, MrWong, StumbleUpon, Delicious, etc).
I don't get very many (or any) "votes" or "fans" of my bookmarks but I'm wondering if the links themselves count at all toward my SEO efforts? Sometimes I feel like I'm just bookmarking for the sake of it, but would like to see a return on investment.
Some of my bookmarks themselves have ranked well, but I want my direct site to rank. SOOO... does anyone know of the bookmarked links get factored in by Google?

I would imagine that if the sites you use are "Dofollow" links then yes there has to be a positive effect from Google.
If the article is ranked highly by the search engines and someone visits the page and clicks your link then again that`s a good thing.
I think it`s difficult to quantify just how much benefit is derived from bookmarking, but I can only guess there has to be some, though in my view not a huge amount.

Well, The problem is that many social site are changing to NoFollow format. So, it may not help for SE. Even this is true I have got my site indexed by some SE that don't seem to obey by the DoFollow-NoFollow rule. So, at the end it really help. But something that I have noticed is that after submitting your bookmark a couple of times it may not do any difference for SE if you continue submitting more bookmarks. I guest you should continue submitting bookmarks to invite other to comment and vote for the purpose of getting actual traffic.

I also use bookmarking quite a bit - many are no follow although there are still some that will get you backlinks. I think the secret is to mix bookmarking with other types of promotion such as video, articles and blog commenting.

Thanks for the points. I used to bookmark my own post for 2 or 3. I thought It would have bad effect in the SERP on Google if i bookmark my own post.

Social bookmarking submission has developed into a powerful tool for SEO experts. It involves linking sites within the various forums, blogs and message boards on social networking websites, blog sites and content-centric sites like Digg. Considered a better alternative to submitting a website on blogs, manual social bookmarking is a simple, convenient and hassle-free way of making sure that your site is noticed and marketed in the right circle.

It would help SEO if the bookmark sites are do follow, but all the ones you listed above are 'no follow' sites. you should search for a list of nofollow sites!
