QUOTE (PacoLoco @ Apr 15 2012, 09:34 PM) Just a question about the Sen. position I commented about a little while back. Has anyone got that email about the requirements, has passed all of them, and has or has not been offered the position. I hate to email them again but I know I definitely have met all the requirements and really could use the extra $$. Yes, and yes I was offered the position. The MO seems to be "Don't call us we'll call you." Which was basically what I was told when I inquired initially after I felt I had met the requirements. I had assumed they had not selected me and then after I had moved on they emailed me out of the blue. Good luck buddy!

Hi all,
I got a mail from Lionbridge about a freelance pay per task opportunity. In order to take part in this, I have to complete a short recruitment exam. Is there anyone that can tell me what to expect from this exam?
Regards.

QUOTE (PacoLoco @ Apr 25 2012, 03:40 PM) Sounds good! I'll have to contain myself from emailing them again. If you could respond to the PM I sent you I would really appreciate it. If not, thanks again for all your help. I can't respond because I don't have the requisite number of posts under my belt. If you feel like it you can PM me your email and I'll respond more in depth there. The short answer to your question is no though. Thank YOU for your kind words! Fingers crossed.

QUOTE (kclionbridge @ Apr 24 2012, 07:53 AM) I had a friend in the same situation. It took her a month to hear back about what they were going to do with her. They ended up letting her go but she had only being doing it a few months. Hopefully your 3 years will by you some leeway. Thanks for the response. What do you know, a day after posting this they sent an email that they let me go. Well, so much for that then. Kind of bummed out about it to be honest. It was a great little job to have to pay for my phone and internet bill. Oh well.

FIREFOX LAG making LB difficult to work on?
Especially regarding scrolling down pages and opening new tabs. I have tried, safe-mode, uninstall/reinstall, many suggestions from many sites, and I can't get rid of the lag. Using FF12. Anyone have same problem, anyone have solution?
Thanks!

Thanks! That is odd. What specs are your system? particularly, how much RAM do you have? I know sometimes firefox likes to eat up RAM like candy. Personally since I use firefox as my personal browser as well, I run a portable version and enable ability to run multiple instances of FF at once.
