Have you tried emailing to the faster level? I emailed to lv2 and got a proper! response within 24 hours(I didn't get an answer for almost a week when I wrote to lv1). Still not payed though, I was told I need to wait until the next payment period.

Thanks for the response. I elevated all the way up to the top person on the email list and didn't get a response, but did get the remittance email and payment yesterday. Better late than never.

On the upside, I already got timesheet approval for March!

Thanks for the answers all. I didn't have to worry about going over 20 hours after all, since there were too many NRT. But I did manage to get over 30 hours and it's been approved, so I should receive payment on the 10th, right? Only reason I ask is because I didn't see it anywhere in the consulting agreement, so I just wanted to make sure. I rate in the U.S. by the way.

Wow, I wonder what kind of score you need to pass the exam. There's so many things not covered in the guidelines and practice queries yet they still expect you to do perfect (US Web Content Assessor).

I am not 100% sure if you will be paid on the tenth. I know that I received an email telling me about the payment on the 10th about two years ago and before that I was paid on the 30th. I assume that you will be paid on the 10th though as it seems most US raters are. A bit of advice is to plan on getting paid on the 12th. They seem to be behind on payments a lot and I hate to have you counting on that money on the 10th.

QUESTION, I just started at LB and I have a question about time and task expectations. If I am supposed to do a hypothetical 25 tasks in one hour, but come up at, say, 12.5 for that hour. do they expect me to alter my hours worked on the time sheet to 30 minutes to make sure I have "met" the expectation of 25 tasks per hour?

And since EXP task expectations range from around 4 task per hour to around 60 tasks per hour, how will I know if I am on target when the time sheet only requires entry of the TYPE (EXP, URL, Review,) etc... and not the specific PROPERTY such as Video or Local or Book.

Thanks for your help!

LB will let you know if you have exceeded the expectations, and encourage you to amend the hours. I don't know what happens if you don't amend the hours after the notice.. Although the timesheet only show types, the system records the specific properties of the work you have completed. LB will review your timesheet based on those records. As for me, I keep a record for myself, and check the expectations before entering the time. Hope this helps.

I have virtually never adjusted my time to meet expectations, and virtually never run into confrontation. Only when something crazy extraneous happened which skewed the time a task took. You don't say how new you are but there is some leniency in your first month-ish and they know it takes a bit to get up to speed.

On the second question. Others may disagree but I think you are over thinking it. Just go in with a ballpark time frame, do the best you can, and report the time it takes. Others have given their opinions on this before so if you read back a little you'll see what people have to say.

Also, Inb4 haughty confidentiality reminder.

sometimes if the expected times are ridiculous for the task (like they expect 1.9 minutes but the task itself will clearly take a lot longer.) I'll use the report button but continue the task. I figure if anything, it could help them out for properly considering expected times for particular task types.

Kinda wish they had faster response time with answering questions. especially since with some of the questions, I feel are kinda important so my quality isn't affected. I tend not to think of questions till after webinars are over. sad.gif

The rater hub has been updated to evaluation platform. Strangely, there is no newsletter on this update. And after that, it has been NRT for almost a week.

Just a question about the Sen. position I commented about a little while back. Has anyone got that email about the requirements, has passed all of them, and has or has not been offered the position. I hate to email them again but I know I definitely have met all the requirements and really could use the extra $$.
