So, am I the only one getting all technical issues. Seems everything I get has some problem. I get either that or iPhone tasks

I'm a newcomer. Hi everyone.

I have a question and wonder if anyone has similar experience.

I've worked for lb for over a year (in US). And for the month of February this year, they claimed I didn't do enough task to have a star grade, but I worked over 70 hours consistently since January, and they approved of my timesheet and said my productivity level was really good, so I'm really confused why they claimed they don't have enough information to grade me.

Naturally I sent them an e-mail and they've not responded.

Then since 2 days ago, they stopped giving me any task. Nothing whatsoever. The only e-mails I got from them was about asking me to join webinar, so I did do those webinars, and still no task. I sent them yesterday asking why there's no task given to me while on the geo portal, the circle chart is there and appears that there should be tasks assigned to me.

My grade before this lack of one in February has always been ok, I'm usually ranging from 4 to 5 stars, only this January I got a 3 stars. They even told me about the opportunity to become a senior rater this past December (but no mention anymore of that). I passed all the certification tests as well.

I'm wondering if they're 'firing' me. I happen to know a guy who worked for LB and they stopped giving him task for almost a week straight before they told him they had to let him go.

Am I worried too much or is it a normal occurrence with LB? I've not had 2 days straight of no task before (the longest has been a few hours), or very few tasks in an hour and more hours of no tasks, but no 2 straight days...

Before 2 days ago, I experienced quite a bit of technical issues with the EWOOQ.

I'm not entirely sure but I've gotten 0 star rating before for not enough tasks and I didn't get fired.. Also, since working, I actually have had days of no tasks before. I wouldn't really worry about too much unless it continues.

Has anyone got his rating or money for febuary?

The senior and SES positions are different. I was emailed about the senior position and just like you emailed them when I felt I had met the criteria. They responded, reiterating the criteria and said 'they would let me know' in a way which implied that you don't apply for the position you are just offered it when they decide you meet their expectations.

I think the "didn't do enough task" thing may relate to task types. I believe stars are derived primarily from certain task types so if you were getting more 'other' task types this could throw your stars outta whack, know what I mean? I have worked for LB for a similar period of time and have definitely had days of NRT, I wouldn't let that rattle you. Nor would I let the three star thing rattle you, I don't think that's abnormal. Keep us posted though.

@tmchd: I haven't experienced anything out of the ordinary, minor trouble loading occasional tasks.

I use a regular mobile phone and dont use it a lot. Is it worth it to get a smartphone to get smartphone tasks(maybe a cheap one for home network)? They have asked me before if i have a smartphone but i did not have one yet.

When given the offer, I refuse since I don't think it's gonna worth. I mean, we're lacking regular tasks so I guess there won't be much of a smartphone task. Plus, mobile data is expensive here (not to mention SLOW).

I do the mobile tasks and besides the one with the app they are very few. The app one almost pays for my cell phone bill each month because I have Virgin Mobile. I also connect to my wifi to do the taxes so speed and price of data don't matter.

ANYONE ELSE: Have problems with a M type 2 today?!

Newcomer here with a quick question. I went on vacation last week and worked 0 hours. Can I work more than 20 hours this upcoming week as long as I stay within the maximum monthly limit? I know the guidelines state no more than 20 hours per week, but I'm wondering if that's just so people don't go over the monthly limit.

Yes you can, they look at your output per month(80 hour max).

This is poor advice. Look more closely in the portal for the answer to your question. Best thing for you to do if you want to work >20 in a single week is to email the team and get explicit permission.

Nope, me never ask for permission, as long as don't exceed the 20hr/week average.

Ah, perhaps I spoke too soon (sorry, OP). I will have to confirm with them for myself, but I would also be happy to hit the monthly max more often too, if the monthly max is indeed the only thing they look at.
