Are you using it for Gaming? or just simple surfing the web and word processing? or doing graphics and web design? No matter what brand you have in mind, more memory will be good....at least 512MB, 1GB if you can at least 60GB hard disk capacity....and you need to have either CD-RW or DVD burner for backup.....DVD burner will be a better investment.... Also depends on whether you need a very portable one -- less than 2kg ; or you just want one that is like desktop replacement but still relatively portable to carry when needed.....
