Most of you people should know me, I am an old member of TalkGold but I do not often participate in discussions. Now things have made me curious...
I am running my software company since 2006 which has served hundreds of customers who belong to this industry therefore I can say that I do have good experience around.
Crisis, Crisis, Crisis... Why? I found some people (including well known Paul of MNO) told me things should be back to normal by September. But don't you guys think that damage this industry got in 2010 is so huge? I am referring to programs like GeniusFunds, NMC, GNI, PTV (developed by me and I had a lot of trust in it) and PanaMoney (which again I think belongs to, I am not sure but something like: "PerfectScam" or their "dragon-russian-ara" network).
I have talked to different web designers, "hey, why aren't you referring any more customers to me?" and all of them replied "business is lost" and most of them even used the most famous "F" word.
Guys, what is the future?
of HYIP industry and I.T. industry associated with it. Can some one please help me conclude because I really can't understand the term "things will be better by Sept".

The Reason things pick up in September is that for the larger portion of the HYIP population September ends the Summer Season. People are indoors more, back to school and college where they access the net a lot, and I guess back into the swing of things.

QUOTE (Uncle Awesome @ Jul 15 2010, 03:34 AM) The Reason things pick up in September is that for the larger portion of the HYIP population September ends the Summer Season. People are indoors more, back to school and college where they access the net a lot, and I guess back into the swing of things. Looking on the right side under advertisements, I found total-profit banners which pays 444% after 5 minutes and up to 8888% after 4 hours. Come one! these are obvious scam programs. Exactly same point I raised in TalkGold. Why would well known communities with a lot of credibility among HYIP investors will serve such kind of banners. For example; a newbie investor comes and since he consider MMG as a reliable source, he may be will not hesitate to dump his money in scams like total-invest. That would mean another potential investor of this industry is gone, if I was him, I would never ever trust any other HYIP even if it had considerable ROI. Shouldn't everyone go 1 step ahead now, for sake of this industry?

QUOTE (dittoteam @ Jul 15 2010, 07:00 AM) If there is a slight upswing in September I don't think it will mean much overall. I think you hit the nail on the head when you mentioned the big popular HYIPs that have failed. People were getting the sense that they would continue indefinitely and their hopes and strategies were destroyed. I also think there are many more "crusaders" that are trying to bring them down for some reason. Instead of just making their own choice not to participate they seem obsessed with starting legal problems and dominating forum threads with negative posts. I didnt intend to hurt any one feelings but this industry comes with 2 basic rules, (1) dont invest more then you can afford to lose. (2) dont expect a dead or gone program to come back and pay you refunds. Only smarty investors are able to make money smartly from these investment programs. I am not saying the industry is dead, but it is in crisis and I am just wondering what steps are being taken to save it instead of waiting for september.
