Yes, Its real. I met someone recently that we discussed one-on-one. This guy makes $500/week from FLIPPING. He recently made $3000 from it.He is an expert. He trained me for a fee. OP, yes flipping is profitable as long as you follow a strict regimen in choosing the domain names and as well as populating with quality content so that the domain name is not considered worthless by search engines.

There is a lot of money in website flipping, but you really need to know what you're doing. If you don't know which websites will sell
like crazy, you don't know which ones to purchase. You need to have a 'feeling' for it in order to be really succesful

I am a web developer and alsways looking to increase my income. I can put any site together. I am thinking of doing a complete site, then selling (flipping), repeat. But my question to those who know about flipping is where to I advertise my site for flipping?

skywalker101, I'm not an expert here, but I would assume that most people would suggest any major multimedia/social networking outlet. Twitter, facebook, blogs, forum signatures, things of this nature... or even create a webpage of your own that advertises websites that you flip.... or a website that is a central hub for people selling websites...

Me too is not an expert about flipping websites but I have had experiences with it some months ago. I like to see it as the same way as I see investing in real estate and yes, people do make money out of it. The edge of doing this compared to real estate investment is that there are more people looking for better websites than people looking for houses on the daily basis.

Same as other investments online, this too needs skills and time to get success for it. If you don't have them, it is going to be difficult to actually make good money with this.
