Hello !
I am from Sri lanka , South Asia (Poor Country rotflmao.gif )
Our currency is LKR (Sri lanka Rupees)

4 Days ago 1 USD = 113.89 LKR.
But today it's 1 USD = 120.23 LKR

Dollar's value has been increased suddenly.

So, My Country's economy going Up or Going Down ?

Thanks, thumbup(1).gif

Here in Argentina the conversion is the following:

1 Dollar = $4.25 Pesos Argentinos

so... having an online job that pays me with dollars and euros, I can say that the economy of my country is working great haha. But unfortunately things here are really expensive just because of that, and the cost of life is very very high.

Persons that find alternatives to make money, just like online businesses, can make a very nice difference. But close-minded people that will only work for the monthly salary (and these are like the 90% of the overall population), they have to work really hard to make a decent life. I was one of those till I discovered the online world.

Regards!!

That certainly means its going southwards. The same problem with other south asian countries where corruption and bad governance is at the peek.

SutharsanY, it is hard to judge about the economy in the term of a few days. Such fluctuations can happen all time. Just look at euro/usd rate fluctuations past year or two.
But in general, yes, when your currency falls towards other currencies economy of your country deteriorates. That means inflation of your currency.
