I would not submit to all 400 directories in one go. Better to do like 10 a day from what I have heard.

This looks like a very useful tool just for the social bookmarking sites. I like lists thats another 64 backlinks.

Be careful with automation tools...

I find my websites to be ranking much lower when I use these automation tools..especially when the links are directly linking to my website...

Now I try to keep clear of them...Article Submitter still works well for me though...

Thanks! This is really helpful. Just make sure that you do not submit to 400 directories at once. A slow submission is what gets you high in google.

The top social bookmarks websites are not listed, just a few there.
Going to do it the old way, there is a website too called socialmarker or something which can help you submit to dozens in an easy way but you need to register first in each website.
