This is my first topic in this interesting forum.

My first topic will be requesting for financing requirement for developing an active project we have. In fact I m not yet sure if this the right section to post this type of topics!




We have an opportunity to participate and invest in a factory for producing cement and marble in the Sultanate of Oman.


Project Idea:

Setting up a factory that produces multiple products, colors, shapes and uses are used in construction and decoration and finishes using different raw materials like natural marble, cement, sand, dry colors and water.


The plant will be in the form of multiple production lines by type of product are as follows:

• First line: Construction blocks Products (bricks) .. (More than seven types according to market needs in which fifteen thousand bricks per day will be produced).

• Second line: Interlocks & chequered products.. (more than eight kinds according to demand and by 500 square meters per day will be produced).

• Third Line: Concrete marble products: (using the powder of natural marble, cement, sand and artificial colors and water ... will be several forms like flooring tiles, stairs and kitchen tiles. and production rate will be 300 square meters square meters per day).

• Fourth Line: Different Decor Products: .. (Like the third line natural marble, cement, sand, water and dry colors will be used to produce different decorative products like Fireplace, Handrails, Decorative Columns, Building outside cladding flowers case).



Project will be located in a land in one of the Batinah Region cities which is about 50 km away from Muscat in Oman. The land area is 33,000 square meters and is very suitable for this project. Currently the land has bricks and interlocks production line which produces 10,000 bricks and 150 m² per day.

After the establishment of all new proposed lines, the plant income will be about 120,000 Omani riyals per month with a net profit of RO 50,000 per month or 42% of the income.


Basically, the marketing of all products will be in Sultanate of Oman except concrete marble products, which most of it will be exported to GCCs like UAE, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.


Therefore, we require a partner, investor or financier of the project development. The amount fund for establish this project is about R.O 300 000 ($ 900,000). And we can accept more than one person to participate in the project.

Hmm your idea which is

is really a good idea, can you tell the what percentage would you offer to the investors as a return or profit. Selling home decor and improvement items is a good plan but we need big investment for establishing the factory to produce such a big factory.
