Forex Robot Test - Grid System

I have been interested in Grid Systems for a few years now and I finally found a Forex Robot that trades the Grid with a huge amount of flexibility, it was the one thing which killed all of the other Grid Systems I Had tested.


The Robot I am talking about still isn’t ready for public release but after harassing the owner for a few weeks he agreed to run it on a VPS on my $10,000 account for me through Vantage FX, 400 to 1 Leverage.


The deal was that he would make 5% on my account and that I would then purchase the Grid System Robot; I got to keep the profit and 14 trading days later he had made 5% and I purchased the System.


I have now set up a micro account with XEMARKETS with $2,000 and since they have a 50% Bonus running at the moment I will have $3,000 margin and 888 to 1 leverage for the Grid System Robot Test.

Welcome to Globalprofits Forex, my name is Mark Scown and I have been Learning - Trading Forex for over 4 years and in that time I have had some big highs and some big lows.

Now it took me a long time to stop focusing on "How Much Money I Could Make" from the Forex Market and started focusing on what really matters, “How Much I Could Lose”

I made a ForexTraining website a bit over a year ago as a resource for people who were interested in learning how to Trade Forex, I wasted way to much time searching through the thousands of websites online when I first started and to tell you the truth you find yourself getting lost, bouncing from one so-called trading Guru’s website to another.

It’s another point I can’t stress enough, you do not have to pay out huge amounts of money for courses, what you do need is to study the basics which you will get for Free at Babypips and then once you have the basics you need to put a lot of time into learning the three points that I made earlier: Stop-Loss – Risk vs Reward – Money Management which = Forex Trading Plan!

I often visit the AUD/USA thread at the Forex Factory just to see what other traders are thinking and I found this Bio from a trader called FX-Petra, I have watched this member over an extended period and like their style of trading which is similar to how I like to trade and if you follow some or all the rules below you will have a lot better chance of keeping your Forex trading profitable then most new traders.

I have had lots of questions lately about “how to trade”, or “how I do it”. I am going to post the basics of how a new/unprofitable trader can give themselves a good chance to become profitable. I do not claim this is the only way, or that it is a guarantee to success. But for those frustrated and searching, it is a great place to start!

1. DO NOT SCALP. Stop, just say no, go cold turkey… however you would like to phrase it. I do not believe that the forex market can be scalped profitably over the long-term. We can argue that later. As a new or not-yet-consistently profitable trader, please forget scalping. I am not going to get into a long-winded argument about why, it would be fruitless. If you don’t want to take my advice, fine. I’m not charging anything for it. If you are frustrated and looking for answers, your first step is to STOP SCALPING. If you think you can do this…. read on. If your gambling nature does not allow you to stop, one day your bank account balance will bring you to your senses.

2. You can only trade a .10 pip for every $500 in your account. That is a $1 pip for every $5000. That is the absolute minimum. Better if you have $1000 for every .10 pip. If you cannot stick to these minimums, I hope you enjoy and feel good about supporting the employees of your broker.

3. Only trade the pairs with the best interest rate differentials (among the majors), and only trade in the direction of the larger interest rate. For example, Australia has a high rate now, United States in low. If you trade A/U, you should only be long. When pull backs occur, or topside breaks, buy. Over time, interest rates will start to converge. When that happens, start looking for another pair to trade with a bigger interest rate spread. Never take profits of less than 100 pips….. 300-500 is better, but that takes a lot of patience!

No, you will not get rich quick. Yes, you will miss a lot of trade opportunities. As you become profitable over the first year, you will begin to develop other techniques that you can add to your tool bag. In 3-5 years, you could have enough experience, capital, and tools to make some real money in trading.

This is a great place for new/searching traders to start. If you trade this method exclusively for one year, you will have a good chance of having more money than when you started. Demo other techniques during that year, and try to add one or two (at most) for year two. Good trades to all.
