I've only ever played on pokerstars and think they are the best all round site. If I were you I wouldn't waste your time with freerolls. Start playing the micro cash games or even $2 tournaments. The field is a lot smaller and the prizes are a lot bigger for a small entry fee.

I have played at a wide variety of online poker sites over the years, as well having played live in Las Vegas. When I started at Pokerstars, I started with .net (play money only, as well as play money tournaments).
