This is what is on the thread start....Dr. Jack Johnson, the creator of the MAGICJACK, has started a new company (like Netflix) called FlixsNow.

The whois registrant information is different for both those sites. But, maybe you can get more information by sending in a support ticket, or listening in on the conference calls.

I am planning on trying out the service, than I'll start some major promoting if all goes well. I think it's an easy sell. Especially with the amount cable companies are charging now for all those movie channels, that half the time you can't find a good movie on.. or you've seen it about 100 times before..Plus, it's a lot cheaper than renting a movie...sheesh. Not to mention the late fees I always get hit with, cause I forget to bring it back on time...lol
Wish they had "video game rentals" also... now that would be a killer marketing strategy, and would blow away the competition.

I hear you about what the cable companies offer in terms of movie channels...at least mine anyway. However I remember a company that used to do this with VHS tapes and music tapes, and their lineup wasn't really up to date. Never have used Netflix, so I'm interested to know how comprehensive the movie selection is with this site, because of course that is the key.

I do.
Its terrible and there is absolutely NO customer service.
I rarely use my home phone so I'm keeping it because of the savings.
Static, echoes, delays... hope these problems don't effect the movies ?

I'll be watching to see if folks are really happy with the product but I guess
if you are able to watch at least 5 movies a year, it will be worth it. I
would hate to be in the middle of a movie, or worse, near the end, and the movie konk out !

I got more details on Dr Jack Johnson that I would like to share with you today. I kept asking for more info on how Dr jack was involved with Magic Jack then I got the call from Dr Arline (upline 3 up) She informed me that she has been friends with Dr Jack for 20 years and He is a Medical Surgeon. What really happened back in 1994. He did invent the Magic Jack (was not called that at that time) He shared the info and how it worked with a very good friend of his. His friend actually said This is Magic Jack (speaking Dr Jack) at the time. His friend took the information and went and marketed the unit calling it magic Jack...stole the idea and concept right from under his thumbs. Now Dr jack went on and found a way to sell flat rate cellphone for $79.95 (VOIP) in the late 1990's. he later sold his patent to Nextell for some really good pocket change. Now to present he invents (or figures out) how to send Movies at a flat rate of $25 a year and still make a profit. Here is where we are right now folks. He is smarter and wiser. he has already signed several contracts that ensure Flixsnow will receive all new releases before the competitors and he is now working with a big customer base company (still a secret) to join forces with Flixsnow and intergrate their customers into our already started affiliate matrix.
