Not sure, I mean, anyone could register with the same name as Jack Johnson, but I don't like to assume anything...

The thing that confuses me is if Dr Jack Johnson claims to have invented the magic jack back in 1994, and his friend stole the idea right from under him... And, Dan Borislow claims to have invented it in 2007. That means there is a 13 years gap, where Jack could of patented the idea... ???

Maybe he forgot....lol,

The VOIP technology was invented in Israel in 1995/1996. A search of the USPTO shows lot of patents for Borislow, can find no reference to Johnson. Also the company that invented VOIP, Vocaltec was acquired in a reversre takeover by MagicJack. Unless the person that claims to know Jack Johnson can produce some kind of verifiable documentation, I'd be very careful.jmho

Well, you won't find anything on Johnson, cause he never got it patented... Also, there would be lots of information on Borislow cause he was an inventor an entrepreneur. It actually surprises me how Johnson can even claim the invention rights on a product that he never did get patented. That's like me saying I invented Microsoft, and my friend stole my idea.
