Just upgraded to FF4 and I have to say it looks nice but it's almost the same as Google Chrome... but I still love it

Misses some of the old add-ons at the moment, though that should be fixed in time.

I like FF4 for being a LOT faster than 3.6 ... however Chrome has better functionality, speed and the best overal browsing experience.

I was using and trying FF4 beta but I didn't like the new layout... I might try it again now that it is out of Beta. Should I? Any bad issues with it as of yet? I like the sound of it being faster! smile.gif

The layout is a lot more Google 'Chromish'. I do experience a lot of crashes with FF though (probably because of my 'neat' software configuration). The thing is with FF ... it has the most advanced functionality due to it's vast array of plugins. So I do recommend it.

It depends what you are used to: IE user? Go FF! It's heaven!

Firefox 4 brings a new user interface, with a new look designed to make it faster. Early mockups of the new interface on Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux were first made available in July 2009.
New features include improved "doorhanger" notifications, Firefox Panorama (a feature that lets the user organize tabs into windows called "groups" and perform various operations on groups), application tabs, a redesigned extension manager, Jetpack extensions support, integration with Firefox Sync, and support for multitouch displays.

The only thing that I dislike about firefox 4 is that a lot of shortcuts has been changed or removed. Good thing is that Chrome didn't change any of those shortcuts just yet. I still use both of them and FF is still cool even with the new shortcut keys...

The only shorcuts I really use in FF are CTRL-D for bookmarking a page, lol. THat's it, I'm downloading Chrome right now and seeing what the heck this is all about.

Here are some that you could probably use. works with Chrome and lower FF version
1. ctrl + w = close tab
2. ctrl + t = new tab
3. ctrl + n = new window
4. ctrl + shift + t = reopen last opened tab
5. ctrl + 1 (or any number) = go to 1st tab (or any number 1 to 9)
6. F6 = go to address bar

Nice, John, thanks for sharing those. The "reopen last tab" could be pretty useful. I've had like a "DANG IT! I didn't mean to close that!" moments.

The reopen last closed tab was very helpful indeed since I've been encountering parsing problems in another browser that I was using. So far so good in terms of my experience with Firefox 4 goes.

Cool guys. anyways, there are still tons of keyboard shortcuts out there and I have to say that most of them are really useful specially when I'm using my laptop. those built in mouses in those things are not really that fast and convenient to use so I use a lot of shortcuts. Below are a list of some of the useful shortcuuts you guys can use.
